Our Top Neutral Paint Colors

When it comes to selecting a “neutral” paint color I think we can all agree that it’s way more complicated than you would like. But like every designer, we have go-to’s that we implement in many of our projects.

Benjamin Moore’s Decorator’s White: Great for Cabinets + Trim!

This is easily one of our most used whites because of its crisp clean appearance and how easily it coordinates with almost any other color.

Sherwin Williams’ 7015 Repose Gray

A fantastic option for a chameleon of a wall color! It’s a grey without going too cool.

Sherwin Williams’ 7043 Worldly Gray

Another chameleon in its own right if you want a paint color that’s not really grey but definitely nowhere near beige!

Sherwin Williams’ 7671 On The Rocks

This is a NEW favorite that will give you a light, bright look without going stark white on your walls.

Helpful Tips for Choosing The Right Neutral…..

  • Get samples of a few options and move them around in different areas to catch different light during the day.
  • Pay attention to the undertones – they will react differently with their surroundings!
  • Some neutrals lean on the warmer side and some fall on the cooler side – know which direction you would like to go before you decide.
