Color Crush: Thai Temple

Color Crush: Thai Temple | Interior Design Dallas | Barbara Gilbert Interiors
Travel is a big inspiration for me and I love the colors I find when I’m globe hopping. This photo of a Thai temple is full of rich hues that make a beautiful Color Crush color palette.
The shades of blue in the sky are met by the gold and brown hues of the building itself. The architecture of Thailand, like this classic example, is a major part of the country’s cultural legacy. Roofs are the quintessential elements in Thai public architecture, shaping the character of the buildings with their elaborate structure and decoration. The ornamented multi-tier roofs are, however, reserved for temples and palaces as well as public buildings such as government offices, university halls and monuments, according to The Study of Thai Traditional Architecture as a Resource for Contemporary Building Design in Thailand. I love the colors here — what do you think?
