Spring is just under a month away, starting on Tuesday, March 20. I can hardly wait for the magnificent burst of colors that come with that season. One of my favorite displays is cherry blossoms. In the United States, Washington, D.C., has some of the most magnificent blooms, and for the second year in a row, a few of the cherry blossoms are coming out early. I figured if they're already making an appearance there, I can write about cherry blossoms here for this week's Color Crush.
This color palette is soft and sweet, something that would be calming, especially the pink. Little known fact: pink is actually a physically soothing color. This is so much so that 30 cells in Switzerland prisons have been painted pink in an attempt to calm down aggressive inmates. So imagine what this color could do for an average person's anxiety or restlessness! The psychology of color is an amazing thing.
