Like so many people, I watched the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a few weeks ago. What a lovely ceremony and what eye candy for those of us who love fashion! It made the think that for my next Delight in Design, I should create an outfit for a summer wedding.
In particular, I was inspired by the ensemble of Amal Clooney that day. She looked stunning in a marigold Stella McCartney midi gown, accessorized with a birdcage veil hat, gold stiletto pumps, black-and-gold clutch, and pear drop earrings. Wow. So for my outfit above, I decided to use her vibe as my jumping-off point, particularly that fetching shade of yellow. I used red as an accent color instead of gold, but the overall effect is similar. Here are the details:- Sol dress by Jacquemus
