Not so very long ago, my team and I had the pleasure of designing a colorful, contemporary home in a Dallas suburb. The owners are color lovers and every room offered a different take on the home's overall color palette: vibrant, elegant, and full of happy hues. For this week's Color Crush, I'm featuring a photo of a cheerful family room in that house.
We stuck with neutral colors for the wall so the custom glass plates would really pop. Those blues, greens, reds, yellows, and oranges also show up in the pillows and throw on the sectional, which, like the walls, we kept a neutral color. Even the vases on the bookshelf and the lamp behind the sectional are bright. Our clients were thrilled with the results! What do you think?
