Outdoor living spaces have always been popular, but with today’s lifestyles of long work hours, lengthy commutes and hectic family schedules, the need for a backyard retreat is greater than ever. Throw in the rising popularity of staycations, and the benefits of a backyard paradise become unmistakable. We recently designed an outdoor living space for clients that love to entertain friends and family, and wanted their patio to serve as an extension of their home. BGI Receives ASID Legacy of Design Award
We are honored and thrilled to announce that Barbara Gilbert Interiors has received First Place in the 2013 ASID Legacy of Design Awards for Bathroom Design! Founded in 1975 and with over 30,000 members, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest and largest professional association for interior designers in the United States. The association’s annual competition recognizes the finest interior design achievements in each state’s chapter and, needless to say, the competition is fierce! (more…)
