Big Wins at 2017 Design Ovation Awards
We're thrilled to announce two big wins at the 2017 Design Ovation Awards. My team and I won first place in the "Master Bedroom — Contemporary" category and honorable mention in the "Bedroom — Youth" category. It's a special honor to be recognized by my peers in the North Texas design community. Dallas designers offers some impressive skills, and our area is one of the best in the country for interior design. So much creativity and talent! Color Crush: Urban Color Palette
For this week's Color Crush, a new bi-weekly feature on the Barbara Gilbert Interiors blog, I've chosen a photo of New York City as my inspiration. I'm from that part of the country and I love an urban color palette, especially at dusk. It's vibrant and moody, something that would make a home look sophisticated and elegant. We're starting a new series, Barbara's Dallas Kitchen Remodel, following Barbara Gilbert's renovations in her new home. Today, the first installment looks at the "before" pictures.
