Design Crush: Violet Charger Plate
I’ve been sharing interior design finds on my social media sites for some time and I've given them a name: Design Crush. These are my favorite pieces of furniture, accessories, decor, and more. My Design Crush today is the Cyan Design Wishing Well contemporary charger plate. I love the variegated violet color — so rich and deep. Big Wins at 2017 Design Ovation Awards
We're thrilled to announce two big wins at the 2017 Design Ovation Awards. My team and I won first place in the "Master Bedroom — Contemporary" category and honorable mention in the "Bedroom — Youth" category. It's a special honor to be recognized by my peers in the North Texas design community. Color Crush: Urban Color Palette
For this week's Color Crush, a new bi-weekly feature on the Barbara Gilbert Interiors blog, I've chosen a photo of New York City as my inspiration. I'm from that part of the country and I love an urban color palette, especially at dusk. It's vibrant and moody, something that would make a home look sophisticated and elegant.
