Style 180: Kitchen & Dining
We recently gave you all the details of a living room design transformation we created when our clients moved into a high-rise condominium. With its contemporary architecture, the condominium was the complete opposite of their traditional interior design past and a style 180 was in order!
Today, we’ve got all the scoop on the streamlined kitchen and dining room design they also embraced with their new surroundings. They love their new home and we couldn’t be more excited for them!
We continued the soothing indigo and gray color scheme in the design plan and furniture design, making the open floor plan flow beautifully. Custom-made cobalt blue barstools with legs finished in white chocolate welcome guests to the kitchen, while simple pendant lights add understated elegance.
The dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, features a hand-knotted wool and silk rug which anchors the room. Platinum and espresso dining chairs provide contrast and echo one of the rug’s accent hues.
We selected a custom dining table with a sleek finish and unexpected detail. Here, a side view of the table shows its large, geometric pattern, adding visual interest to the room.
Nearby, a patterned bone inlay design console in subdued shades of cream and gray places the spotlight on bold, large-scale artwork that invigorates the space. Like what you see? We’d love to create a unique and personal design for you, too!
